Jason
Wu has brought his creativity and innovative style to
Madame Alexander! He's long been known in the doll community
for his Fashion Royalty dolls but his name went national,
international, when he designed Michele Obama's inaugural
gown. Jason is debuting two new Cissy collections this
year. One takes the more traditional route collectors
are familiar with, while the second presents a sleeker,
16" NeoCissy. In additional to wonderful designs with
a 50's flair and an exquisite make-up palette, Jason
has provided these, the 21" Cissys, with newly engineered
jointing which includes a concealed shoulder joint,
an elbow joint with a 45 degree bend and the most inspired
touch of all - adding ball jointed wrists with removable
hands which bend and are removable for endless dressing
possibilities.

What
can you say about a Dark Dream… aside from….stunning?
21", fully articulated Cissy with blue eyes and
a short red, curly, wedged shaped hairdo, is a
vision in black starting with her black, Lycra,
turtleneck bodysuit which is worn under a fitted,
black taffeta jacket that features a peplum and
silver buttons. The skirt to the jacket is an
amazingly full one that is comprised of a top
layer of dark navy taffeta trimmed with black
Venice lace. Beneath the top layer is one of a
navy floral, embroidered net that has a scalloped
edge and, under that layer, is two more, of black
spider net lace. A dramatic, black straw hat trimmed
with black feathers, black strappy heels with
ruffled pleather ankle straps and black Lycra
gloves completes this Dark Dream.

her 'nude' platform heels that have a black ruffle

by Jason Wu. It, a navy taffeta swing coat with
a shawl collar and black belt, is worn over a
short-sleeved emerald green, silk dupioni, sheath
with a peg skirt. It looks marvelous on 21" Cissy
with her black bun and blue eyes. Her face paint
looks perfect beneath her fox 'fur', pom pom hat
that has an attached black net veil which covers
the forehead and adds drama to the eyes. A rhinestone
necklace, silver, bow shaped earrings and black
gloves that reach her elbow, add accents and additional
style. As does Envy's black, platform heels with
a black crisscrossed ribbon detail and nude pantyhose.
She comes with a martini glass, which you'll Envy
too.

futuristic look with a dramatic flair and couture accessories.
This new fashion doll, as designed by Jason, features
a nostalgic Elise sculpt, re-interpreted with a brand
new, fully ball jointed body with endless posing possibilities.
There are 15 joints in all including neck, shoulders,
elbows, wrists, bust, hips, knees, ankles, and waist.

Blu Belle, a NeoCissy with blue eyes, a large,
side-parted, blue Afro and black nails, wears
a very chic black taffeta, dropped waist, mini
dress. The bodice has a peach ribbon detail stitched
to look like a corset and…an overlay of ruched,
black net with white, flocked, mini polka dots.
A strap of the netting extends over one shoulder
and the pleated, mini- skirt of the dress has
a matching overlay of the same net. Blu Belle's
'je ne sais quoi' look is finished by nude pantyhose,
orange vinyl, platform sandals, that are accented
by orange suede rosettes on the middle strap,
silver rhinestone stud earrings and a lacy black
eye mask that comes with sticky dots to adhere
the mask to the face.

Cissy® is always beautiful but
this year Brilliant Cascade Cissy® is brilliantly
so. She, with her blue eyes and white, Grecian
style, upswept hairdo that has a golden braid
decoration looks stunning in a golden, tiered
dress. The dress, of gold net and lace, dips
slightly in the back. Gorgeous jewelry, earrings
and bracelets, long, nude colored gloves, panties
and vinyl heels with a gold trim and gold base
translates into one knockout of a Brilliant
Cascade Cissy®.
Shimmering Touch Cissy® glimmers
and glows. Everywhere you look, at this fully
articulated 21" with blue eyes and a red bob,
there is a sparkle. Her turquoise silk trapeze
dress is overlaid with black sequin net and
has a double layer petticoat beneath. The petticoat
combines blue net and green tulle and adds an
exciting dimension to the dress. Green sequin
straps join at the point where a blue/red/clear
rhinestone brooch sits on the dress. Blue net
thigh highs worn over black glissenette thigh
highs have a shimmer all their own. Shimmering
Touch Cissy® wears black panties and brown open
toed shoes that have a hint of white polka dots.
As for jewelry... an orange sequin bracelet
and silver earrings which feature rhinestones
and one red stone per earring, add more than
a touch of glamour. Long black Lycra gloves
and an orange and gold sequin clutch that remains
closed are the dynamic final touches for Shimmering
Touch Cissy®.
85th Anniversary Cissy® is both
glamorous and dramatic. This gorgeous Cissy
who has an ivory bob and captivating blue eyes
that are shadowed with shades of white, black
and grey will take focus when she walks into
any room. How could she not, dressed as she
is in a cream silk dress that has an overlay
of black tulle which has been beaded and ends
in cream yarn fringe. A black ultra-suede belt,
which has been given a treatment of rhinestones
and silver applications, cinches in the waist.
On top of the dress, 85th Anniversary Cissy®
wears a glorious coat of silver and black brocade
that has been lavishly trimmed with black fur.
Black gloves and black ultra-suede platform
boots add the finishing touches to this ensemble
which is capped off by a black ultra-suede,
fitted, pillbox hat that features a rhinestone
embellishment.

blond with brown tips and blue eyes. Cissy
sports a "California Tan". She wears a deep
purple leather skirt with a slit on the side
revealing her thigh high stockings. Her matching
knit shirt is paired with an ultrasuede vest,
rhinestone embellished belt and a long velvet
scarf adds a rainbow of jewel toned color.
To complete the look, matching turquoise jewelry,

Captivating Swashbuckler:
Ginger red curls and blue eyes, Cissy is ready
for adventure dressed in an outfit befitting
a sassy pirate. Her ruffled white blouse trimmed
in lace is cinched by a multi colored corset
and is topped by a long jacket woven of bold
reds, yellows and oranges. Her tan pants tuck
into thigh-high black ultrasuede boots, while
a black belt with brass skull buckle holds
her gleaming sword. To complete the look she
wears two different earrings, a hat adorned
with multicolored feathers and holds a plush
parrot on her arm.
Vanity Affair Cissy: Caramel
brunette with tosca highlights and blue eyes.
Cissy creates her own fashion trend in a bronze
and gold brocade cocktail dress trimmed in
brown feathers with pink polka dots and topped
by a faux fur jacket. Her high hat and open
toe shoes are covered in brown feathers and
accessorized with matching brocade evening
bag, brown and gold beaded earrings, bracelet
and necklace. Her second wig is a short and
sassy platinum blond with brown accents. Also
available in African American,
Simply Irresistible: Auburn
bob and blue eyes. All eyes are on Cissy as
she enters the room in her irridescent fushcia
mermaid style taffeta gown with black beaded
net overlay. Black gloves, two toned shoes
and crystal jewelry complete her elegant ensemble.
As an added bonus Cissy comes with a sun-kissed
blond upswept hairdo.
Evening Star: Auburn ringlet
curls and deep blue eyes. Cissy echoes the
classic look of the 1950's haute couture in
her navy blue taffeta dress. Around her shoulders
is a baby blue organza wrap and underneath
a baby blue tulle petticoat. Finishing touches
include white gloves, light blue velvet headband
with rhinestone detail bracelet and earrings.
Sparkling stacked high heels and clutch are
great accent to her extra 50's style sun-kissed
wig.
Riviera Posh: Chocolate pincurls
styled in a French Twist and blue eyes. Cissy
makes her entrance in a flowing pink and black
silk chiffon skirt with matching bra and scarf.
Underneath are a pair of beaded black hot
pants that sparkle with her rose quarts and
rhinestone earrings, black beaded bracelet,
pink gloves and black open toe heels. Cissy
